Stingray City

Today was a perfect day in Cayman!

Light northerly winds and blue skies meant the north sound was an amazing place to be. LTD celebrated Heather’s 30th B-day in style at the sand bar and then had a Grill N Chill BBQ at Star Fish Point. The ribs were amazing! It was a picture perfect day for frisbee fun followed by a trip through Booby Cay to see the mangroves. Much fun was had by all!

Yesterday was a beautiful day floating on the sandbar at Stingray City with friends. There was a bit of excitement when another boat went floating past us with no one on board. The owners of the boat were having so much fun playing with stingrays that they didn’t notice their anchor had not hooked. Thanks to a very nice guy on a jet ski, someone was dropped on board and the boat was brought back to the sandbar where the owners threw the anchor again and got it hooked this time.

LTD is looking forward to the weekend when we have family visiting from Canada. There are Grill n Chill charters in our future!

Today was a perfect day!  Light winds coming from the south west meant the north sound was flat as a pancake.  We took some awesome people on a trip to the sand bar and then snorkeled the barrier reef, WOW!
