The summer is here and we are loving everyday we spend exploring Grand Cayman diving. Cayman Diving is consistently some of the best diving in the world.
This week has seen some perfect Cayman Dive weather.
Our Boat II has been diving Grand Cayman’s West Side. Visiting dive sites like Orange Canyon home to massive Orange Elephant Ear Sponges. We have dived shallow dive sites like Hammer Head Hole where we have been getting lucky and seeing lots of lobsters, turtles and a couple of very “friendly” nurse sharks. The other popular dive site on the West Side is the Kittiwake wreck dive. The wreck has now been underwater for 5 years! She is starting to show signs of coral growth and becoming an amazing shallow wreck dive. At the time of writing this blog there are large schools of silver side fish making home inside the kittiwake.
Our Dream Boat is departing from the Cayman Islands Yacht Club and exploring the world famous North Wall. This is a summer treat for Cayman Diving. The north side is home to Eagle Rays and from time to time we see reef sharks. The corals and amazing shear face of the wall make the North Side a place Cayman divers love to visit.
