We had a fantastic week of diving on Grand Cayman’s North wall. On Black Forest, we saw 5 eagle rays swimming in formation and they swam around us doing barrel rolls- very cool!
They were absolutely stunning to watch. At the same time, a playful octopus was out and about on the reef in the early morning which was a rare sight!
We had great fun with the gang from Ohio, certifying them all and showing them the best of Cayman diving throughout the week. We finished the week with a trip to the world famous Stingray City where we relaxed in our bean bag chairs on the way out to the sandbar and then spent hours playing with the gentle rays while they swam all around us.
Tomorrow we are back on the West side for a beautiful dive on the West wall, followed by a relaxed surface interval before we head to the Kittiwake to visit the resident Golliath grouper, school of squid and horse eyed jacks. Can’t wait!
A great week was had by all and we were all “Living The Dream”. Maui only chewed two pairs of flip flops and was happy to come and meet the boat each day.
Looking forward to the week ahead!
